Remote online assessment

This highly interactive workshop provides participants with research evidence on remote online assessment and explores the potential of this type of assessment, not forgetting virtuality and gamification. We look at the pedagogical principles and examples of summative, formative and diagnostic online distance assessment. The facilitator shares developments, survey results and secrets of success when implementing such an assessment in her unit. Inspired by the idea of the TINA moment of assessment (Fuller et al. 2020), we are looking for ways to further develop our remote online assessment practices after the Covid-19 lock down. The workshop includes the facilitator's presentation, polls, discussion and activations on an interactive whiteboard.
